This is Monty, a five and a half year old Labrador cross Jack Russell. Monty’s owner had noticed he’d been a little lame on his right hind leg for the last couple of months, so bought him in to see Susana in our Amesbury Surgery.
Susana advised that Monty should come to the Salisbury branch and have some x-rays taken. Monty saw Sarah for his x-rays and she discovered he’d damaged his cruciate ligament and needed surgery.
She performed the surgery and everything went very well. He woke up brilliantly and spent the night with us here. He is such a lovely, brave little dog! A pleasure to nurse. Since going home he’s had a repeat check with Susana and we hear he is back to his old self… well done Monty!
I’ve used Avon Lodge vets as long as i can remember and recently had frequent visits with our poorly dog.
